Economic Development
The activities of the Economic Development Department is under the direction of the City Administrator. Our goal is to create a business environment conducive to growth and expansion in the City, provide outreach to maintain ongoing relationships with area businesses, and assists the elected officials with administration and recommendations on economic development expansion and retention deals.
Our Community
Osage Beach is the heart of Lake of the Ozarks, one of several large man-made lakes in the United States, with 92 miles of main channel. We are the Midwest’s premier lake destination boosting world-class boating, shopping, dining, fishing, state parks, and other must-not-miss recreation. Located in central Missouri on US Hwy 54, 42 miles southwest of Jefferson City, the State’s capital, our community is part of a rapidly growing region with excellent schools, beautiful scenery, and endless opportunities which makes us a desirable place to be.
