The City of Osage Beach Police Department welcomes community donations to Shop with a Cop, an annual event benefitting underprivileged children.
Every holiday season, Osage Beach police officers take around 20 kids on a Walmart shopping trip to pick out Christmas gifts, eat snacks and meet Santa Claus. The program is funded through donations and in partnership with Walmart. The department is asking the community to help give more kids the gift of Christmas.
Checks and money orders made out to "Osage Beach Special Police Project" can be mailed* or dropped off at the Police Department window at City Hall. Online donations can be made through the City's website. Please choose the "Shop with a Cop Program" option so the donation goes to the right fund.
(Please note online donations are subject to a $1.25 fee charged by our processor; this fee does not benefit the City of Osage Beach. The City waives the regular 2.35% surcharge for donations.)
