Newly Elected Osage Beach Aldermen Seated; New Board President Selected

Board of Aldermen - Class of 2025

Three newly elected Aldermen for the City of Osage Beach took the oath of office during the Regular Board of Aldermen Meeting on April 17, 2025, at Osage Beach City Hall. Following the swearing-in, the newly seated Board unanimously selected Alderman Bob O’Steen as the new Board President. 

The Class of 2025 includes incumbent Aldermen Justin Hoffman (Ward 2), Bob O’Steen (Ward 1), plus newcomer Alderman Rebecca Collins (Ward 3). Hoffman and O’Steen retained their seats during the April 8, 2025 Osage Beach Municipal Election, while Collins unseated Board President and incumbent Alderman Richard Ross. 

Before the new Board was seated, Ross thanked his colleagues, Mayor Michael Harmison, City staff, and Osage Beach citizens for the opportunity to serve. “It’s been an honor and a privilege,” Ross said. He was presented with an award from the City of Osage Beach in recognition of his eight years of service on the Board of Aldermen.  

A total of six candidates competed for three open Board seats in the April 8, 2025 Osage Beach Municipal Election. Each Alderman serves a two-year term. 

Voter Turnout Breakdown for the April 8, 2025 Osage Beach Municipal Election

According to the Camden County Clerk's Office, there are 33,441 registered voters within Camden County. Total ballots cast on April 8, 2025 were 2,156, which equals a 6.45% turnout across the county. Within the Camden County portion of Osage Beach, there are 4,863 registered voters. 282 of those voters cast ballots for the Board of Aldermen Election, which equals a 5.80% turnout across Wards 1, 2 and 3. 

According to the Miller County Clerk's Office, there are 19,010 registered voters with Miller County. Total ballots cast on April 8, 2025 were 1,454, which equals a 7.65% turnout across the county. Within the Miller County portion of Osage Beach, there are 265 registered voters. 12 of those voters cast ballots, which equals a 4.53% turnout across Ward 1.
