On April 27, 2017 at 6:00pm the City of Osage Beach invites the public to attend a Special Meeting of the Board of Aldermen for HDR’s presentation to the Board of the scope of work for the Osage Beach West Parkway Study.
The Osage Beach West Parkway Study was developed based on a series of stakeholder and public meetings held in November and December, 2015. The public is encouraged to attend, and attendees will be provided with the opportunity to provide comments, if desired.
The scope of work to be presented is a culmination of data gathering, stakeholder engagement, and two public meetings, conducted to better understand the conditions affecting the Osage Beach West Parkway corridor. At the November 9th public meeting, the City’s consultant team heard a strong interest in a study that would examine ways to better market, physically improve, and increase economic development opportunities on the west side of the Parkway. At the December 7th public meeting, the City’s consultant team focused on details surrounding six specific goals identified for the west side of the Parkway and the best way for them to be incorporated. The input that was provided by stakeholders and the public was very informative and valuable to understanding the conditions that are affecting the corridor and the public’s vision for what may be needed.
For those who are not able to attend the meeting in person, a copy of the meeting minutes will be posted to this website.
