In consideration of recent developments and in response to the CDC's recommendation of avoiding large gatherings, the City of Osage Beach is taking precautions to maximize the prevention of COVID-19.
Governor Parson has declared a State of Emergency in response to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The health and safety of our community, visitors, and employees is a priority for the City of Osage Beach. The impact of the COVID-19 has rapidly escalated in the recent days and to maximize the prevention of the disease, the City is asking its employees and community members to be diligent in their attention to this matter.
In consideration of recent developments and in response to the CDC’s recommendation of avoiding large gatherings, the City will postpone the upcoming Easter Egg Hunt, any other City community events, certain programs, and employee work travel through May 15, 2020; this will also include various park events. There are no plans to reduce City services.
We appreciate your patience as we manage this situation. We will evaluate revised dates for events and programs that are suspended and will provide alternatives as appropriate.
We also encourage citizens doing business with the City to limit visits to City facilities where possible and conduct their business via phone, email, or utilize online resources available at www.osagebeach.org. Resources include the drop box at the front of City Hall for payments or other documents that need to get to City Hall, online bill payment options through our website, downloadable applications from the website, just to name a few.
